Girl Guides of Canada's Programs Team is responsible for selecting program activities to highlight and promote to current and potential members on Pinterest. It is important to select activities that are relevant to today's youth and present a seeming complicated or complex activity to demonstrate visually how to approach the activity. This piece of GGC's social media strategy is twofold, first to highlight programming to existing members and second as a recruitment piece for future members.

Maintaining a cohesive visual reinforces the messaging seen in posts overtime. Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's School requires a high standard of detail when designing content to ensure the brand identity and voice are. Their social media is used as both a tool for inviting current parents to see what is happening day to day at school and also as advertisement to prospective parents. A glimpse of student life and the values that the school holds.

Engagement is a fundamental aspect of any brand. Creating and designing relevant, attractive, and interactive content requires an understanding of the client's, in this case Girl Guides of Canada -Québec Council, target audience and the voice they portray. Capturing events and important information updates the wider community encouraging participation and support for the organization. Managing a brand account poses challenges; maintaining the brand voice and visual identity while designing unique content to engage with the community on a regular basis.
Prior to bring the Public Relations Adviser in 2020, I acted as a live contributor during events. Stories were utilized to highlight the essence of the event and archived as a highlight to ensure the promotion of activities within the organization.
